Happy Holidays and New Year! I got some awesome stuff this year including a bamboo-tablet-photoshop thing! Super excited about that and hopefully I will be able to figure this thing out so I can use it!

So I just finished crying...

Why am I crying?

Probably because I just watched the mid season finale of Doctor Who season 7... Now I am not one to really show emotion or "cry" that often. Of course I will shed some tears at the big stuff. However, I have never cried, correction, BAWLED so hard in all of my life time. Now I know most of you are thinking, "Wow you cried that much over a stupid TV show?" First off Doctor Who is anything but stupid and second, yes I cried that much.

I will not give away any spoilers, but, I will say it is the saddest Doctor Who episode ever to be seen (or the saddest tv episode ever to be seen.) Anyway, sorry for telling you guys how depressed I am. I know I haven't put much art up and thats because of school. But, I will try to post some stuff.

So I got this email from my awesome art teacher asking if I wanted to be a high school docent. -And of course I said YES!!!

"What is a docent?" you might ask. Basically I was assigned a gallery and I go to that gallery, pick an artist and several paintings, learn about said artist and paintings, go to the gallery next week, then stand akwardly at the door greeting people and answering questions about the art for like two hours...

It is a great opportunity and I am so glad I was told about it. Normally they have older people who are experienced with art and art history, but the goal was to get us youngsters interested in art and for us to be able to talk about art and to improve our people skillzzz... (BASICALLY IT WILL LOOK GOOD ON COLLEGE APPLICATIONS AND RESUMÉS!)

But I am excited for this amazing opportunity!

This year I went to a different school as all my friends and I know pretty much no one at my new school.

The topic of Homecoming came up and I was kinda bummed 'cause I knew I probably wouldn't be asked to go to my new school's Homecoming.

But then I got a call from one of my great friends and he asked me to go to homecoming with all my friends at my old school and I was like HELL YES!! I was really really excited and I told my mom that he asked me and when the dance was and stuff. But she was like, "Oh no! We have that trip booked that weekend! I'm so sorry but you can't go 'cause we leave on Wednesday and dont get back till Sunday Night!"

So now I'm like ultra-mega crushed that I can't go with all my best friends in the world. I had to call my friend back and tell him that I couldn't go because I completly forgot about the trip and that I didn't know it was the same time as homecoming. I FEEL LIKE SUCH AN AWFUL PERSON!!!

So. Freaking. Close.
